November 27, 200520 yr I have to write a cause and effect essay and I decided to write it on the Marlins and the stadium. I have to leave for work in about 5 minutes so I am going to make this short and sweet. Why exactly cant the Marlins get a stadium? ( I know somewhat why but I kinda want to have more info). November 27, 200520 yr I don't keep up with the Marlin's, so I'm clueless here so I can't provide any direct input, but I am curious about what Mikey means when he says the fans won't help? Are we talking they won't help Finanically? Politically? Supporting them? How come the owners aren't taking responsibility? My guess is the people in the city and or Florida (i.e. city council, mayor, governor, etc) do not care enough about the team to keep them or at least try too. Am I close? Hey look at the Cowboys, they got Arlington deal with them since Dallas wouldn't.
