its actually a hack of the uxtheme.dll file in windows xp that allows you to run unsigned themes. its much better then running a program like windowsblinds or style xp b/c nothing needs to run in your background. it uses little to no resources and there are endless amounts of themes on deviantart.com. here is a lil tutorial how i learned how to do it. if you have any questions ask me and ill help ya out. here is the link:

no in order for this to work its requires the hack. if you follow the directions step by step taking your time you will see how easy it is. especially when installing that Luna Element theme. it has its own .exe installer. when you install it right click on the desktop and choose properties. choose the theme LA4 from the drop down menu in the themes tab. then you can customize its appearance in the appearance tab. you can choose compact startmenu, compact theme, diff color, alt startmenu, compact start menu.

WOOT finally got it to work!! What I did was download an automatic patcher (i used NewWin) and then I just restarted my computer. Thanks for the help man. This is tight.

Hey np brotha glad I could help. You will find how easy it is to just pop new themes on. I never tried one of those auto patchers b/c i never had a problem with the replacer program. BTW I love using the neowin forums for themes.
