Lefty
I love this :lol Best back to back interviews ever. I can't wait to see what Samson says.
Guest Moneyball
Christ! Arriola knows exactly what he's doing, putting a raised tax initiative in a heavily Republican county...that's got a snow-ball's chance in hell. What he's proposing is an all smiles, no teeth, plan. Didn't Miami-Dade go to the Dems in 2000 and 2004?

Marlins2003
The half penny tax thing is what's call a "straw-man argument". No one would work harder to kill the idea than Joe and Manny, and they already know from polling that it will fail. What a disingenuous human being. prinmemito
I am going to wait and see what Samson has to say before I give my opinion about Arriola. I don't think he sounded like such a scumbag like many of you have said.

Guest Moneyball
Samson: I got more emails after the Alfonseca/Clement trade.
The Folklegend
If he's claiming more people were upset at Clement than now, he's either lying out his ass or there are fewer people who care anymore.

The Folklegend
Typical. Refuses to admit what their revenues are making it impossible for anyone to prove whether they're in financial straits or not.

Mabdul Doobakus
Listening to Samson, I can't envision myself ever spending another dollar on the Marlins. I just can't give this guy any more money. I will watch them on TV, I will follow them in the papers, but I just can't give this assmunch another dollar. We've been going to 40 games a year from the team's inception, and this is how our loyalty is dealt with. I just cannot believe this guy is saying what he's saying.
