August 27, 200323 yr I've beem doing some thinking and I've found a cheap way to replace Armando Almanza with a better, cheaper pitcher. I think that if we got a pitching machine it would do just as well as Almanza, and it would cost much, much less. The only problem would be the interviews with the media. If it didn't do so well it could get 'injured'.
August 27, 200323 yr Never happen unless you can figure out how to pay the machine's dues to the Players Union.
August 27, 200323 yr I don't want to see Almanza back with the team this season. But, I am looking forward to seeing him in Spring Training in Jupiter. You don't know the blood and guts and sacrifices it takes to be a major league player. To suggest he be replaced by a pitching machine is not funny. It's disgusting.
August 27, 200323 yr How about a blow-up doll? You could throw a uni on her, set her on a chair in the Bully right next to the rest of the staff and no one would know the wiser.
August 27, 200323 yr They should put a cardboard cutout in front of a pitching machine, and he'll do WAY better than Almanza did.
August 28, 200323 yr while we're at it, couldn't we replace Neilsosky with an automatic poll every morning?
