February 11, 200620 yr it was just announced the Reggie Bush will be signing in San Francisco in a couple weeks...I'm thinking of getting it, but I don't know if it's worth $100 for a flat item at this point in his career...if he does better than expected, the value will only go up, but what if he's only a decent RB? Especially considering the prices of some of the hall of famers at the show are lower, including: Steve Young ($80) Warren Moon ($80) Lawrence Taylor ($70) Marcus Allen ($35) Fred Bilitnikoff ($30) Mel Renfro ($20) Randy White ($35) the only guys charging more are Joe Montana ($150) and Jerry Rice ($125), the two greatest players to ever play the game Should I get it? I already plan on spending nearly $500 for Young, Taylor, Allen, Rice, Montana, and Denny McLain Here's a link to the info
February 11, 200620 yr ESPN has already annointed him as the Messiah so obviously, as long as you are able to obtain his autograph, do so by any means necessary. Sell your kidneys, liver, first born son, etc. for the autograph.
February 11, 200620 yr i would prefer either young or moon for their prices b4 bush at 100 bucks...that is crazy...let him prove himself in the show b4 you charge prices like that...THAT IS ABSURB!!

L.T. for $70 and then $30 for Bilitnikoff > $100 for Reggie Bush.
February 11, 200620 yr I got a Reggie ball 2 years ago for $60 anyway, yea.... drop a hundo... it should be worth it
February 11, 200620 yr it should be worth it He could be the second coming... ...of Ron Dayne. :plain

Sell your kidneys, liver, first born son, etc. for the autograph. For someone who hates ESPN you sure mention them a lot. I say no. $100 is a bit much for a rookie autograph. Even the annointed Messiah's.

Here's a little quote: Reggie 5:1 "And Reggie Bush was supposed to die for all man's sins, but Jesus said it'd be a sin for Reggie not to play football"
February 11, 200620 yr I got a signed Steve Young & Dan Marino Hall of Fame fooball (from the hall of fame) for free. My uncle went and got it for me, its number 17/150. How much do you think that bad boy is worth?
February 12, 200620 yr I got a signed Steve Young & Dan Marino Hall of Fame fooball (from the hall of fame) for free. My uncle went and got it for me, its number 17/150. How much do you think that bad boy is worth? Somewhere in the range of 425 to 450 so, assuming you have the Hall of Fame certificate of authenticity and any other papers that came with it. If I were you, i'd keep that ball and try to get as many hall of famers to sign at as possible.
February 13, 200620 yr Although it could be worth WAYYYYY MORE than a 100 bucks, right now it is just to early to tell. That is why I voted NO... Now if you have a 100 bucks to just throw around and it doesnt hurt you or anything I would say why not? Bush could be a really worthy auto or it can be garbage! Really depends on how he does... GOOD LUCK! Let us kno what you end up doing or already did.
February 14, 200620 yr Author No, but it's worth the 80 bucks for Steve Young. that's ultimately why I'm leaning against getting Bush...i just can't see myself paying more for Bush than Young or LT to show you even more why I'm leaning against it, look at what various hall of fame football and baseball players have charged at this show in recent years (ones in bold are ones I opted to get): September 05: Gaylord Perry $30 Bob Brown $30 Monte Irvin $25 Ryne Sandberg $70 Steve Carlton $50 Brooks Robinson $60 February 05: Steve Young $80 Reggie Jackson $85 Ronnie Lott $45 YA TIttle $35 Jim Brown $80 Tom Seaver $60 September 04: Jimmy Johnson free Willie Brown free Robin Roberts $40 Juan Marichal $40 Bob St. Clair $20 Hugh McElhenny $25 Orlando Cepeda $40 Rod Carew $70 Dennis Eckersley $60 February 04: Bob Feller $30 Don Sutton $40 Ernie Banks $80 Rollie FIngers $40 Ronnie Lott $45 Willie McCovey $70 September 03: Carlton Fisk $60 Willie McCovey $60 Dave WInfield $80 Duke Snider $40 February 03: Marcus Allen $100 Howie Long $80 Earl Campbell $45 Stan Musial $80 Bob Griese $45 Ron Yary $15 Jim Otto $25 Joe Perry $20 At this point in his career, is Bush worth more than any of those guys? No...but if he is good as they he is going to be, it'll be worth more...I think I'm deciding against it, because even if he is as good as expected, he probably won't be charging like this again...also, I'm not really into football autographs except for guys I like or guys among the all time greats i'll use the money to buy a Tom Brady 03 etopps auto on ebay instead At the show I'll still be getting LT, Steve Young, Jerry Rice, Marcus Allen, and Denny McLain...still undecided on Joe Montana, considering his price is now $150, and I've gotten him for free three times in the past couple months (two book signings, one TTM)
February 14, 200620 yr It cost me less to get Muhamid Ali upon boxing gloves. That is just dumb. Well, if it was signed "Muhamid Ali" that's probably why. I would never buy an autograph.
February 14, 200620 yr Wait, every athlete who isn't a NASCAR driver charges obscene amounts for autographs? That's lame.

I would never buy an autograph. no it was spelled correctly thanks. and I got it in person with pictures and all when I got it He was very nice. The bush autograph is 100 for a flat and how much for a ball or helmet?
February 14, 200620 yr Screw that, wait until after he's had his 2nd reconstructive knee surgery and buy it for 30. Don't get me wrong, Reggie is good but the NFL is a whole new ball game and players will be gunning for him.

February 15, 200620 yr if you do it I would get a football. Because well you dont know whom he will be playing for the NFL and college helmets resale are less then the pros normally. That said a ball with Leinart and bush together would be nice still very dang expensive in my eyes.
February 17, 200620 yr Author even more ridiculous, they just announced they're adding Matt Leinart, who's charging the same price
