Frank Haith is rumored to be taking the job in Oklahoma and his replacement at Miami is going to be Jeff Capel of VCU.

All rumors and speculation.....

I'm not sold on Frank Haith, so I'd be fine with that.

I have no idea what the hell Capel's done at VCU, but I know where he came from, so I can't help but like the man.

Also, where are you getting these rumors from? I've seen no talk of Haith leaving period.

We taked about it on our afternoon drive show here in Richmond...the host heard it from his source.

awesome, though who's jeff capel?

Don't tell me you have never seen the '94-'95 Duke/UNC game on ESPN Classic.

Coach K would not approve of facing one of his disciples every year. That's one of the reasons he ended the Michigan rivalry. Of course, the other is that Michigan just plain sucked.

This is the time of year that the rumor mill churns regarding college basketball coaching vacancies.

University of Miami coach Frank Haith's name has been mentioned for the openings at Oklahoma (Kelvin Sampson left for Indiana) and North Carolina State (Herb Sendek left for Arizona State).

''I have not been contacted by Oklahoma,'' Haith said Monday night.

Haith also said he does not know how his name got mentioned regarding the vacancy at ACC rival N.C. State.

''I love Miami,'' said Haith, who last year signed a contract extension through the 2009-2010 season. ``Miami is now my home.''
