April 9, 200620 yr Does anyone here feel that this team is going to start out slow but in the next few weeks/month they are going to start winning? Since pretty much everyone is new on the team it might take them longer to form a "team" kwim? Does anyone believe this will happen?
April 9, 200620 yr definately...they need to find their identity as a team. once they do that, expect them to win more.
April 9, 200620 yr agreed...while most of these guys are rookies...they are very talented...more so than a lot of big name vets that are on other teams...i see this team being alot more dangerous in july and august
April 9, 200620 yr There's a very good chance we'll have a decent May, June and July. I expect by August these young guys will tire and will fade during September.
April 10, 200620 yr I think its a case of getting used to being a MLBer, once they get over that, then lookout. And next year, I will be expecting at least .500
April 10, 200620 yr they are young and energetic they will bounce back soon enough and start to win their games and get on some hot streaks. besides were arent the only 1- 4 team in baseball? lol
April 10, 200620 yr The biggest thing working against the Marlins finishing strong is the schedule. Look at August and especially September and tell me these kids won't be dragging their collective butts through the dog days of summer.
