Posted September 14, 200321 yr how long does McKeon keep putting him out there or in the clean-up spot with not producing at all. He almost never does anything with men in scoring position?
September 14, 200321 yr What Willis #1? Conine went 0-4 today. He had many chances to drive in a run. He cost us!
September 14, 200321 yr Conine is struggling at home. I'd still leave him in the cleanup spot for now.
September 14, 200321 yr He's hitting the ball well. he's not getting any breaks. when your in a slump your going to hit the ball hard for out. He'll break out. dont worry
September 14, 200321 yr In all the AB conine hit the ball hard. Two of them line shots to center. I think we should put lee back there again in the 4th spot. IMO
September 14, 200321 yr IMO I would switch Cabs and Conine if Conine still can't produce by the end of the Phillies series.

IMOÂ Before the road trip I posted "Switch 4th and 6th?" Most of you agreed switching Conine and Lee. Apparently, McKeon did not. Good to see Conine make contact today. Thus far 90% of his contacts have been right field fouls or right side ground-outs. Good to see him finally turning on the ball. But, I'd still rather have the 30/20 guy batting clean-up.
