April 27, 200620 yr I'm proud to announce the addition of 4 moderators to our Mod Staff. Since the board started the memberbase and post totals on this board have grown tremendously. Originally the small group of moderators we had was enough to match demand but no longer. Increased work meant there was a need to add more moderators to staff which is what I have done today. I'd like to thank everyone who applied, obviously I can't hire everyone but it was great to get applications from many quality users. One day I can see most if not all who applied as fine mod candidates. This was nothing personal, this was just me deciding based on timeframes offered and qualifications of users which 4 I felt would be the best to add at this time. The 4 new moderators are Dodge, MarlinsFanMan77, Rachel, Passion.

April 27, 200620 yr Congratulations to all the newly hired moderators. I hope you guys help maintain an organized, peaceful, and orderly forum. I know Admin picked the right people for the job, and it's refreshing to see new faces with the 'Moderator' badge. I think the decision to add more people to the staff was the correct assertation. April 27, 200620 yr Author are you actually surprised? Well, I think no matter who I selected people would say that. There's always going to be people who assume a bias towards certain members (not saying you are assuming that) and no matter who I selected I'd be told they were not a surprise choice due to a bias I have... which I really do not have. Fact is it's always going to be people I actively talk to on the forums or take part in discussions with because a) I'm an active member b) I'm not going to select someone I don't know anything about.
