Treanor to Nolasco: I'm not sure if anyone has told you guys about this...but there's this thing...called the strike zone. Throw the ball there. :thumbup

The only thing that really ticks me off about these 3 games is overall the Cardinals offense is really not great this year and they lost 4 straight coming in.

Of couse, we havent got any love from the umps this series either.=

Gary Bennett? John Gall? Skip Schumaker? Please.

They are a better team overall, but still not as good over the last few years and really dont even look to be in the top 2 of the NL Central. They had lost 4 straight coming into this game and have an era of like 4.52 on the road. We should of been able to take at least one.

You do know that our hitters besides Pujols never really have showed up this year, right? Well thanks to the Marlins they are starting to heat up.. Thanks guys :thumbup

But dont worry everyone.. Falkenborg.. you should be able to get to him!

You faced a pitcher with no talent who doesnt belong in MLB in Mitre, D-Train on an off night, and a rookie who just came off a bad game.

I wouldnt be jumping up and down and start slapping your cardinal buddys hind ends in celebration just yet.

Who said I was?

On a side note, when the Cards signed the $111 million dollar contract with Pujols in 2004 through 2011 (if the last year option on the contract is used, which I assume they will) they made an excellent decision. Barring an injury, once that contract expires he'll probably be getting a multi-year contract somewhere in the range of $200-$250 million dollars. I only hope that if a stadium deal is announced down here this season, we lock up D-Train and Miggy long term during the offseason.

Yet again Hanley is a bright spot in an otherwise dismal game. Now lets see if we can start a little rally.

Uggla with the bloop. Rally time?
