Exactly. I don't.

It's kind of stupid to compare a team that just opened a brand new stadium in the moderate climate of the midwest to a team that even when good played in a poor stadium not fit for baseball in a poor climate for summer baseball alot of the time.

Also just seems to be nothing more than a story written to make the bash the very young Marlins after a 3 game sweep.

What the writer fails to mention in that Cardinals love fest article, is that his team lost 4 in a row coming into this series, overall isn't very good and nowhere near as good as the last two teams were, and could open Busch III without a playoff appearance.

Worry about your own team and quit spanking your monkey at the chance to bash ours.

miami marlins, i love your sig, chucky carr was my favorite player for a long time.

where the hell is brunswick???

ga?

Who?

Sports Editor Bud Ellis We are located at 3011 Altama Avenue in Brunswick, GA.

Actually he is not bashing anyone. Everything he says in his article is true. He made some good points too.

But this stadium just isn't right for baseball. It's a football stadium first and foremost, and the construction whirling around out here in advance of the Super Bowl coming to town in February makes the Marlins seem like nothing more than an afterthought.

My best guess is we won't be having this conversation for much longer. There are suitors, such as San Antonio, ready to make the Marlins feel loved. Right now, the Fish are nothing more than a tenant in the home of the Dolphins.

This guy is just stating the obvious , come on it is not like we have not heard this before. When this team establishes themselves as a contender in a new stadium in Miami/Hialeaha area they will change their tone.

I have to agree, say what you will about the article...but the seats are empty, and it's not like it was great last year or the year before that either. I'm suprised most of you are suprised that people are disgusted with the marlins situation right now.

Yeah he was one of my favorites too. Chuck Carr makes coffee nervous was a quote an annoucer once said about him many years ago and I thought it was a great line

That IS a pretty good line.

Actually the article seemed like "Talk up the Cardinals and their shiny new stadium and make fun of the Marlins in the process" more to me than anything.

Who gives a damn what he says? I certainly dont.. he's an idiot anyways.. I havent even heard of this turd.. and who does he exactly write for? Some town's paper that has 2 people?
