I was the guy on the Borchard homer who didn't even go after the ball, smiling...

in my defense it didn't look like a homer and I had no shot anyway!

btw, anyone catch when the Cubs fans talked trash to Borchard when he moved to right...he gave them lip.

did you see me waving my broom guys?

W00T! What a FUN game!

I was there in Section 142. Borchard's homer was a shot. Uggla had a nice triple, I thought that was gone too. Just a great game and comeback. We had a nice back and forth chant against all the Cub fans.

I don't need to worry about our image around Cubs fans. We have the two championships in the last 10 years. :cool

If a Cubs fan gives ya sh*t, just mention Bartman AKA Cubs Bane

Dude I was trying so hard not to laugh. Everyone around me was laughing profusely. She started off-key and then all the high-notes were like an octave too low. She was crackling too.

Dude - I was there - I thought I heard someone yell out "do it again". Maybe she was just strugglin' 'cause her Depends were all jacked up or maybe it was all the make-up weighing down her face. At any rate the game went on and it was FABULOUS!

**Since we were talking about Borchard - I have this theory - THE CLARK KENT theory. I call Borchard -> Clark Kent. You see he reminds me of the old Clark Kent from the Superman movies. He's also kinda quite - and a little nerdy - but always there to help you nuke out the bad guys... or in this case the Cubbies as witnessed today. Yeah, if you heard someone call Borchard - Clark Kent at the game - well that was me. GOOD JOB BORCHARD!!!!

GOOD JOB CLARK KENT!!! - I mean BORCHARD!!! hehehe :D

that was one to remember, yep. :D

You should have heard the lady at one of the ST games. She was terrible. The players were even laughing. It was sad but funny.

I remember I was at a Marlins game in 2004 against the DBacks and the lady who sang the anthem also was horrible. She sounded bad to begin with and then forgot the words and was booed off halfway through.

haha, i was at that game too.

i remember sparks was pitching and luis castillo hit a grand slam, batting righty against the knuckleball pitcher

Oh boy, yes, I remember that. It was so bad that I remember being embarrassed for her and just wanting it to be over. When she finally gave up and walked off it was such a relief.
