I'm planning to go to at least 2 games. Can anyone post the upcoming pitching matchups? Thanks

Myers vs. Willis

Millwood vs. Beckett

Wolf vs. Penny

I can see maybe taking 2 out of 3 or maybe a sweep if Willis has his game on.

Whew! Millwood vs Beckett. We are gonna see some Good Heat and Nasty Curveballs from both of them. What a match up.

Thomes gonna have to reely hit um to poke one out at the pro, so a little pressure off there, we play soo good at the pro so i cant see us loosing this series

I can See us Losing this series...

But I can also see us Sweeping the Phillies....

Thome has the most powerful bat in the game. He can hit it out anywhere.

Exactly why the first thing Willis should do on Tuesday is introduce his mouth to the seams of the ball :D

i meen he wont get any cheap homeruns, when was the last time you saw someone take it out right canter at the pro, last one i remember is bonds, is bat is pretty powerful too :lol , but thome can too your right but thome has gotten alot of cheap easy homeruns this year(and alot of bombs).

Thome never gets a cheap one

thome hits alot of oppo feild homeruns that just made it over the left field wall

i may be misinformed but Joe and Skip from TBS said the matchups where Millwood vs Willis , Meyers vs Beckett and Wolf vs Penny. and this is all we can ask for win with our best or...you know...

i was just thinking about this the other day. Look at how awsome the 97 indians were

Manny Ramirez*

Jim Thome*

Brian Giles*

Matt Williams (A Younger williams)

Sandy Alomar Jr. (at his prime having a dream season)

Marquis Grissom

Omar Vizquel

Yeah, that's what you want to do underestimate him in a series this big. I have no problem with that/

what about Joey Bell? lol the big A was huge for the indians

Jim Thome is an animal. Everytime he steps up to the plate, it scares me.

All im saying is Thome isnt AS scary as he is at the pro as he is at the vet, which is the same as any player but, Thome hit three homers in that last series at the vet, and i dont think he hit any many at the pro.

is there an echo in here?

i edited the second one koolioano

The 95' Indians were a much better team.

whatever, your point still is not valid. Thome is a top 5 power hitter of all major leaguers. he can hit a HR at any park to any field on any count, just because hes not on OUR team doesnt make him less impresive...

espn.com says myers vs willis, Millwood vs beckett, and i just filled in the blanks with wolf vs Penny

I would take espn over those TBS a***oles

either way, send out the horses and let em ride :: spits out chaw::

I think you mean left-center, in the bramuda triangle.

The last one hit there that I can remember (by a non-Marlin) was, ironically, by Jim Thome. It was against Braden Looper. Loop gave up the two-run homer onto the TARP over the triangle (with two outs), but still K'ed the side and got a save.
