June 5, 200620 yr Republicans prevented more than 350,000 voters in Ohio from casting ballots or having their votes counted -- enough to have put John Kerry in the White House. BY ROBERT F. KENNEDY JR. Like many Americans, I spent the evening of the 2004 election watching the returns on television and wondering how the exit polls, which predicted an overwhelming victory for John Kerry, had gotten it so wrong. By midnight, the official tallies showed a decisive lead for George Bush -- and the next day, lacking enough legal evidence to contest the results, Kerry conceded. Republicans derided anyone who expressed doubts about Bush's victory as nut cases in ''tinfoil hats,'' while the national media, with few exceptions, did little to question the validity of the election. The Washington Post immediately dismissed allegations of fraud as ''conspiracy theories,''(1) and The New York Times declared that ''there is no evidence of vote theft or errors on a large scale.''(2) But despite the media blackout, indications continued to emerge that something deeply troubling had taken place in 2004. Nearly half of the 6 million American voters living abroad(3) never received their ballots -- or received them too late to vote(4) -- after the Pentagon unaccountably shut down a state-of-the-art Web site used to file overseas registrations.(5) A consulting firm called Sproul & Associates, which was hired by the Republican National Committee to register voters in six battleground states,(6) was discovered shredding Democratic registrations.(7) In New Mexico, which was decided by 5,988 votes,(8) malfunctioning machines mysteriously failed to properly register a presidential vote on more than 20,000 ballots.(9) Nationwide, according to the federal commission charged with implementing election reforms, as many as 1 million ballots were spoiled by faulty voting equipment -- roughly one for every 100 cast.(10) The reports were especially disturbing in Ohio, the critical battleground state that clinched Bush's victory in the electoral college. Officials there purged tens of thousands of eligible voters from the rolls, neglected to process registration cards generated by Democratic voter drives, shortchanged Democratic precincts when they allocated voting machines and illegally derailed a recount that could have given Kerry the presidency. A precinct in an evangelical church in Miami County recorded an impossibly high turnout of ninety-eight percent, while a polling place in inner-city Cleveland recorded an equally impossible turnout of only seven percent. In Warren County, GOP election officials even invented a nonexistent terrorist threat to bar the media from monitoring the official vote count.(11) Any election, of course, will have anomalies. America's voting system is a messy patchwork of polling rules run mostly by county and city officials. ''We didn't have one election for president in 2004,'' says Robert Pastor, who directs the Center for Democracy and Election Management at American University. ''We didn't have fifty elections. We actually had 13,000 elections run by 13,000 independent, quasi-sovereign counties and municipalities.'' But what is most anomalous about the irregularities in 2004 was their decidedly partisan bent: Almost without exception they hurt John Kerry and benefited George Bush. After carefully examining the evidence, I've become convinced that the president's party mounted a massive, coordinated campaign to subvert the will of the people in 2004. Across the country, Republican election officials and party stalwarts employed a wide range of illegal and unethical tactics to fix the election. A review of the available data reveals that in Ohio alone, at least 357,000 voters, the overwhelming majority of them Democratic, were prevented from casting ballots or did not have their votes counted in 2004(12) -- more than enough to shift the results of an election decided by 118,601 votes.(13) (See Ohio's Missing Votes) In what may be the single most astounding fact from the election, one in every four Ohio citizens who registered to vote in 2004 showed up at the polls only to discover that they were not listed on the rolls, thanks to GOP efforts to stem the unprecedented flood of Democrats eager to cast ballots.(14) And that doesn?t even take into account the troubling evidence of outright fraud, which indicates that upwards of 80,000 votes for Kerry were counted instead for Bush. That alone is a swing of more than 160,000 votes -- enough to have put John Kerry in the White House.(15) ''It was terrible,'' says Sen. Christopher Dodd, who helped craft reforms in 2002 that were supposed to prevent such electoral abuses. ''People waiting in line for twelve hours to cast their ballots, people not being allowed to vote because they were in the wrong precinct -- it was an outrage. In Ohio, you had a secretary of state who was determined to guarantee a Republican outcome. I'm terribly disheartened.'' Indeed, the extent of the GOP's effort to rig the vote shocked even the most experienced observers of American elections. ''Ohio was as dirty an election as America has ever seen,'' Lou Harris, the father of modern political polling, told me. ''You look at the turnout and votes in individual precincts, compared to the historic patterns in those counties, and you can tell where the discrepancies are. They stand out like a sore thumb.'' June 5, 200620 yr I saw Rob Kennedy on Tucker. He's a nut. There is not a more corrupt family in politics than the Kennedys. How could anyone believe this guy?
June 5, 200620 yr He is right, same crap as in 2000 election. But really it doesnt matter, it would take a revolution to get Bush to leave office. He would ignore anything less

June 5, 200620 yr Rolling Stone is a good, non-biased equal opportunity source of information. LOL I remember I got a subscription to that piece of sh*t magazine because I was interested in music.
June 5, 200620 yr He is right, same crap as in 2000 election. But really it doesnt matter, it would take a revolution to get Bush to leave office. He would ignore anything less Actually in the 2000 election Bush was hurt far worse than Gore by election regularities, at least as far as I've seen. There was way too much under the table stuff in the 2004 count, starting with the Dems preventing leftist minor party candidates from getting on the ballots and ending with the things Kennedy discusses. I seriously don't think its worth pursuing just for the fact that there was so much dirty dealing by both parties it could do more damage than the parties inability to follow a coherent platform and doing nothing but bashing each other has done. Not a good thing.

June 5, 200620 yr Recently there was something in the news about an RNC person who was involved with some dirty tactics in PA, who had made a ton of calls directly to the White House a few hours before election day. Personally I just hope that Bush will leave office in 2009 without a fight...
June 5, 200620 yr I saw Rob Kennedy on Tucker. He's a nut. There is not a more corrupt family in politics than the Kennedys. How could anyone believe this guy? bush family is far worse Kennedy's vs. Bush's?? JFK was linked to the mob and cheated on his wife all the time. What kind of president is that? The drunk Ted Kennedy (aka the worst governor ever)?? Kennedy is one of only five Senators who have publicly announced support for Same-sex marriage. Kennedy's home state of Massachusetts is the only state in the United States within which same-sex marriage is legal.
June 5, 200620 yr OK WMM. I'll play your game... The Bush's: The Patriarch of the entire family is linked to the Nazi's in various ways, including symphathetic to the cause. George W. Bush was heavily involved with the same people who are trying to kill us now. But of course, that is absolved because Bush is against granting civil unions to Gays!

I guess that would be awful from a Republican standpoint, but I think there's a huge difference between supporting gay marriage and getting a DUI. Bush's family has been linked to the Saudis for way too long, and they helped fund Dubya's failed oil company for awhile. Bush was an alcoholic for some time, not to mention an illegal drug user. Then there's the fact that JFK served in WWII, while Dubya managed to avoid going to Vietnam, instead getting to fly planes once in awhile. Meanwhile, men like John Kerry and John McCain were in combat in Vietnam, with McCain getting captured at one point.

Granted, I think JFK was a GOOD leader and President.....all I said was that he was CORRUPT! .......................................... John F. Kennedy had a very active sex life, even after he married Jackie, and even after he was President in the White House. For those who don?t think secrets can be kept by the elite, one only has to look at how John F. Kennedy was able to have sex with many women while President and to have frequent nude swim parties at the White House pool and the general public not know anything about it.13 John F. Kennedy?s lust for women was well known by the elite. Illuminatus McGeorge Bundy warned his friend JFK (while JFK was a Senator) that John?s openness with women might get him into trouble with the public. John F. Kennedy was so open about his sexual habit, that at one party at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. John F. Kennedy openly had sex with one partner in front of the party, while his friend Senator Estes Kefauver did the same. Then they swapped partners and began again in plain view. John F. Kennedy had many "one-night-stands" as the world calls them. These were merely women hustled up by his aides or the secret service or his friends like Frank Sinatra. But Kennedy also had long term relationships with some of the women he was sexually active with. It is those relationships which reveal so much about the hidden Satanic side of the Kennedys. John F. Kennedy had three long term girlfriends, Marilyn Monroe, Jane Mansfield, and Zsa Zsa Gabor which were ALSO girlfriends of Anton LaVey, who has headed the Church of Satan. Jayne Mansfield was a high priestess of the Church of Satan. Marilyn Monroe was a participant in LaVey?s satanic rituals before LaVey founded his Church of Satan. Both JFK and his brother Robert Kennedy had affairs going with Marilyn Monroe, and both visited her just prior to her mysterious death. Zsa Zsa has been interested for years in the occult. (JFK also had relationships with other women connected with the Illuminati also.) ...................................... It is also known that JFK was in direct contact with Meyer Lansky and Joe Fishetti, two other Mafia chiefs, and that he benefit from money they passed on to him. This is no surprise because Jack?s father had worked with the Mafia Jack?s entire life. There are a number of respectable books by ex-Satanists or ex-Organized Crime members where they are clear about how those groups love to blackmail people. John F. Kennedy certainly could have been easily blackmailed by these groups if they had wanted to. I haven?t seen any indication that blackmail was even tried, so the only other conclusion, which fits a lot of evidence, is that John F. Kennedy worked with the Satanists and the Mafia. In fact, the Mafia rigged several important counties in the election, like in Chicago, which tipped the scales in John winning the Presidency. That?s an entirely different thing that this article won?t get sidetracked on. ....................................... Joseph Kennedy was John F. Kennedy?s father. Through various means I independently learned that Joseph Kennedy was part of the Illuminati. He was a member of the Pilgrim Society (a 60 of the branch Illuminati). He also worked closely with the Mafia, and other Kingpins in the Illuminati. ......................................... Besides ties to running drugs, the Kennedy Clan has had their problems with drugs. Ted Kennedy?s daughter Kara was on drugs and ended up in a halfway house. Bobby Kennedy?s kids were busted for drugs. Joan Kennedy was having problems with alcoholism. David Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. both have been addicted to hard drugs in spite of repeated treatments in detoxification centers. David later "O-D"ed (overdosed) on cocaine and died in 1984. Pat?s Kennedy Lawford?s husband was dependent on drugs and alcohol. It is not well known that the Illuminati have long used drugs. Elite people such as the Rothschild's, Winston Churchill in London and the Royal Family were using all cocaine, heroin and opium (not to mention occult ceremonies too). Queen Victoria, thought by many to be such a straight laced lady and her guests regularly used large quantities of cocaine and heroin. The royal summer residence was Balmoral and this was the site of frequent drug use, and one has to wonder what else. .........................................

June 5, 200620 yr Bush's family has been linked to the Saudis for way too long, and they helped fund Dubya's failed oil company for awhile. That "link to Saudi's" is incredibly overblown. They actually didn't help him with his oil company, but they did basically allow a friend of Bush to have control over some of their assets as a financial manager. Bush actually played a rather small part in the company as well. Clinton and just about every President in the last 3 decades has had stronger ties to Saudia Arabia than Bush did pre-election (now they are basically the same). And don't even bring up John Kerry. He tried his hardest to get out of going to Vietnam. He was denied his request to be removed from draft rolls to go study in France, then joined the Naval Reserves to get out of the draft, hoping his unit wouldn't be called up. When he did get sent out, he applied for a much safer position than he ended up with. And there are anomalies with his reports and his purple hearts that even his superiors say he pushed for and got out as soon as he could. Bush was already in a military branch that wasn't used in the war. Big deal. Do you think gays should be married? Are you Christian? I believe that God put us on this Earth to eat, sleep, and reproduce. Maybe it is just me but God frowns upon gays. Somethings should just be between a man and woman. Yes, I believe 2 men COULD raise a kid...but I think that serious makes that child mentally unbalanced. It's just one issue that I'm strong on.....are you for gays getting married? I think they should be allowed to. I'm not Christian though. I have no problem with it since homosexuality is older than marraige, and many species of monkeys and other "instinctual" species practice homosexuality. I personally doubt God would frown on homosexuality in men/women when He allows it in other species. And personally, I think being raised by 2 men or 2 women is a much better alternative than rotting away in an orphanage or bouncing from foster home to foster home. Shoot, it'd be a better situation than mine (single mother, and an older brother who spent half his time trying to figure out how to hurt me because he blamed me for my father leaving). It's good that you feel so strongly about it though. I like when people show some form of conviction, even if I disagree with them.
