I've hated on Treanor for awhile now but I have to say he made an (eventual) gamesaving play. Whether he was safe or out, the initial block of the plate was awesome. Reminded me a little of Scioscia with LA.

yeah, he's never had much on offense, but his defense is amazing... playing catcher's all about defense, so i'm good with him.

Treanor has been great all year. His offense is a lot better than last year :thumbup . WTG Matt!

As much as he struggles at the plate, Treanor is always good for a clutch single here and there.

 

Very likeable player.

He seems like a real likable guy with no ego and very down to earth. His defense overshadows his offense and Dontrelle and Olsen apparently love the dude so I would say he's valuable to us.
