Your 10 Favorite Games... EVAR...

Featured Replies

Honorable Mention: Brave Fencer Musashi, Kirby Superstar, Strider 2

10) Super Sprint

A fun little racing game that I enjoyed back then. Nothing special but I still love it and I still play it to this day. I never get far because it's so damn hard even though I'm a lot older. I think I did better when I was younger.

9) Biohazard Battle

A side-scrolling shooter. Again, there's nothing really special about this game but it created so many memories. The graphics aren't all that bad either. I remember when I used to play with my sister and cousin we would all have our own set strategies even though we were so young. I always got the yellow beam, my cousin the green beam, and my sister the red one. GOOD TIMES.

8) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time

Holy crap Turtles In Time was so freaking awesome. The EVERYTHING. Arcade mode, Time Attack mode, VS mode, this game is the best "Beat 'Em Up" ever.

7) Dragon's Curse

A lot of people probably haven't heard of this gem because it was released on the Turbo Grafx a long time ago but I still remember it. I never beat it but it was great to play. I remember that my Mom was playing it and there was a boss who no one could beat and me and my 5 year old self beat it. Haha. That was great.

6) Way Of The Samurai Series

Underrated series. It's a free roaming type game with Samurais. What's not to love? Both Way Of The Samurai 1 and Way Of The Samurai 2 have 9 endings I believe and multiple paths. Lots of everything.

5) Marvel Vs Capcom 2

Best fighter ever. Lots of fast paced action and tons of chacracters to unlock. I could play the Arcade mode for days. Strider, Hayato, and Captain Commando FOR TEH WIN!

4) Arc The Lad: Twilight Of The Spirits

My favorite RPG ever. Why? I have no idea. I just had so much fun playing this game even though everything is pretty linear and it doesn't look all that pretty. The voice acting brought out the great characters. It seriously felt like I was watching a show. Watching everyone develop was just so fun.

3) Killer7

I've never had so much fun playing a shooting game. I payed 50 big ones for the game and I Wasn't disappointed at all. Con is one of the greatest video game characters of all time.

2) Bonk Series

Good ol' Turbo Grafx Bonk. This game is DEEP. The music is some of the best, the bosses are fun, the characters are cool, and it was just so different than anything back then. Bonk bonks King Drool and saves Princess Za. So fun.

1) Shenmue Series

And adventure game with TONS of NPCs and things to do. Lots of little mini-games and lots of traveling. The fighting system is great too. I love being able to to whatever I want, whenever. I can't wait for part 3.

I've only seen/played/heard of only one game on your list and I played it about 11 years ago. But, I'm sure the games on your list were classics.

Block-Road (A friend and I retooled the game Off-Road so that the point was to mess up the gray car enough to get the yellow car to beat it. This was really hard at first but over time we became true experts and achieved some miraculous things. This game would be #11 on my list.)

As you can see, I'm a Nintendo loyalist. I haven't played a video game in about a year and a half now, but I'm gonna get back into it as soon as I can get my hands on a DS Lite and the New Super Mario Bros. I'll probably get the Nintendo Wii, too, if they have some good games coming out with it.

Also, it wouldn't surprise me at all if there's a game or two I'm missing here.
