June 17, 200620 yr not surprised one bit I've visited Miami MANY times and I lived in New Orleans for 9 years. New Orleans has MUCH dumber people....trust me. Right, because I'm sure the sample size of people you've personally met and interacted with is representative of the entire population This study is retarted anyway

New Orleans is a very poor city.
June 17, 200620 yr It's based on high school and college graduation. It's more of a measure of the education system. Don't go calling Miami the dumbest city in Miami, because there are pleny of other dumb areas in the country. The proof is right there, folks! :confused
June 20, 200620 yr Well, we do have a high immigrant population here, and I'm pretty sure a lot of them are not well educated. Bingo. How many people came here too old to attend school, and had to immediately find a way to provide for themselves? Also, education level is a reflection of socio-economic status, not intelligence nor capacity to learn. I'm sure if you examine the study and look for correlations between education level and income level, you'll find that a majority of the "dumb" cities are also quite poor. What a pretentious article. i also wonder if this took into account any type of equivalency degrees and the such from foreign countries
