Posted June 18, 200618 yr "They've outplayed us the last two days," Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said. "They've got a lot of young guys with something to prove. I'm glad we're not a National League team. They're a team on a mission and that's a dangerous thing." The Marlins may not be getting respect from any of the national media outlets but the teams we play are sure giving the Marlins respect. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=260617128

June 18, 200618 yr Here is something from a Toronto forum: The Marlins were on a five game streak when we got to town and had the second best record in baseball over the last 3+ weeks AND that run is the equal of any the ever had in franchise history. It ain't just the jays that have been "making them look good"....or, conversely, maybe they are better than you suppose....
June 18, 200618 yr one of the best quotes i hear are from Wes Helms saying that the guys are coming to the ballpark expecting to win and not letting the beginning of the season get them down.
