James Shanks was released today....playing baseball and pot just don't seem to mix....got caught and was arrested...then released both from jail and the Marlins.....

Reggie went 2-2 tonight maybe keeping him with us for a while....but we HAVE to get another OF during the trade deadline....no doubt about it.

I've been saying it since the beginning of our run, very necessary. You just love to have guys like Ross, Borchard and Amezaga coming off your bench every other night rather than seeing them as starters.

 

Also be nice to have a true leadoff hitting CF because we have enough power up and down the lineup.

We have both Campusano and De Aza doing pretty well in AA.
