Operation Removes Lightbulb From Anus

Featured Replies

Fateh Mohammad, a prison inmate in Pakistan, says he woke up last weekend with a glass lightbulb in his anus.

Wednesday night, doctors brought Mohammad's misery to an end after a one-and-a-half hour operation to remove the object.

"Thanks Allah, now I feel comfort. Today, I had my breakfast. I was just drinking water, nothing else," Mohammad, a grey-beared man in his mid-40s, told Reuters from a hospital bed in the southern central city of Multan.

"We had to take it out intact," said Dr. Farrukh Aftab at Nishtar Hospital. "Had it been broken inside, it would be a very very complicated situation."

Mohammad, who is serving a four-year sentence for making liquor, prohibited for Muslims, said he was shocked when he was first told the cause of his discomfort. He swears he didn't know the bulb was there.

"When I woke up I felt a pain in my lower abdomen, but later in hospital, they told me this," Mohammad said.

"I don't know who did this to me. Police or other prisoners."

The doctor treating Mohammad said he'd never encountered anything like it before, and doubted the felon's story that someone had drugged him and inserted the bulb while he was comatose.

So making liquor is strictly forbidden, but beating your wives among other things, is A-OKAY.

How rational.

About as rational as fighting over who has the better imaginary friend.

rational is in the eye or the beholder...they see it as sin to drink, whats wrong with that?

I personally don't drink and think it's actually dumb to go out and get wasted, but it just baffles me that someone can be sentenced to prison for almost half of a decade because of alcohol, but almost be expected to beat his wife if she accidentally shows her nose. If alcohol is good for 4 years in prison, then things like beating your wife or something ought to be 25 years.

ok...i want everyone to understand that by no means am i advocating beating family members...but men worldwide have beat their wives since the damn of humanity...for many its like breathing...but as part of their culture, its not a crime...its accepted...if this is to change then the women there have to change it and stand up for their rights...i mean...honestly...if women didnt stand up for their rights to vote, to have legal abortions, to be treated as men under the eyes of the law...would they have ever gotten no...because men would have done their best to hold them back...it sickens me to death that Americans think their sh*t dont stink so we can go tell the rest of the world what is right and what is wrong and it needs to stop by everyone opening up their mind...or if you want to think of it another way...In Islam, alcohol=drugs in america...so their system of prohibition really isnt any different than our system of prohibition...but back on topic...damn...imagine having a lightbulb in your ass...he should be some kind of spokes person or something for that

as i said...im not advocating violence against women in any way...its just not right to tell other people how to live...we arent the cops or the parents of the world...if a man marries a woman and she gets beaten, she has three options, leave the sob, fight back or take it...seems like most are picking option 3 when they should be fighting back

Yeah and its okay to have slaves because 200 years ago it was accepted.

Just because people used to do it all the time, doesn't make it right, Eienstien.

This thread was about a guy with a incandescent up his ass. Not about beating women.

Stick to the topic or start a new thread. Don't destroy this one with arguements.

Same reason it's ok to kill in the name of this imaginary friend, but you can't spell out his name or it'll offend him.
