Game 2

Featured Replies

This could be the beginning of the end, but who knows. I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy the ride.

wondering if anyone saw me...I was the only guy there with a marlin hat sitting lower deck between 3B and foul pole. Ill be going to game2 shortly.

did you have a teal marlins hat on? i might of seen you

Probably. I was first row, visitors dugout, sitting next to Loria in game2.

Season over.

No it's not, but the offense needs to step up and the pitching needs to get back on track and focused, Marlins need another decent win streak and they are back in it

Season over.

Imagine what this country would be if historical figures shared your optimism and enthusiasm...

"George, we're almost THERE!"

-"Oh this river is too bloody wide. Who's for lunch?"

"Paul aren't you going to warn everyone?"

-"I have a really sore throat, sorry."

"Ask what you can do for me. Country=secondary concern."

"Franklin, you look a bit sick."

-"You're right, one term is quite enough. I'm outtie."

"Jeb just called and said we lost Florida."

-"Send flowers to the family, we still have an election to win here."

Well, you get my point at least.

Well, the Reds lost 2 games in a row. So we only lost 1/2 game. If the Reds lose 3 in a row and the Fish win 3. Look we are right back in. Simple as that.

Season over.

I'm pretty sure there are 58 games left in this season, so I don't know what you're talking about.

Or are you overly-pessimistic and caught up in the moment? Yeah, that's it.

I won't say it's over but that was certainly a chance to take a big step up in the standings, against a team that's basically throwing in the towel. The way they lost the games is disappointing, but then again the team has shown a tendency to bounce back after bad losses.

A win today would make the series bearable at least, and would make 4-4 on the road trip.

JJ's gotta be the stopper today, any kind of prolonged losing streak will be too much to overcome at this stage. Win & get ready for a tough series with the Mets.

I was being a bit over dramatic about the season guys. Relax.

But seriously, losing both ends of a double header in late July to a team that is in a downward spiral is not exactly giving me the "wild card run" chills.

:lol

reds dont play today so if we win we will be bak to 6 gm bak and .5 of philly

Understandable, more importantly losing them in the way in which they were lost hurt. Sure a loss is a loss but we got killed the last 3 games.

We really need Josh to step up today and get us a W on the last day there.

Season over.

Too much optimism can be a bad thing.

"Mission accomplished!" - George Bush

But the season is far from over.

It will be tough with some kids not used to going deep in the season in September, as we head into the last 2 months it is very important that this team stop giving games away - especially thru defense and bullpen with late leads
