7/30 Marlins @ Phillies 7:35 PM Game 2

Featured Replies

Marlins (48-54) @ Phillies (47-54)

Brian Moehler, RHP (5-7, 6.84)

On the DL since July 2 with a sore right foot, Moehler is expected to be activated between games of the twinbill and make his first start since July 1. In that game, he gave up three runs in the first inning in a loss to the Red Sox. But he left the game in the first inning with a sore right big toe that had bothered him for about three weeks.

Ryan Madson, RHP (8-7, 6.18)

Madson tied a NL record in his previous outing, when he uncorked four wild pitches in an inning to run his season total to 10. He'd like to not break his own mark on Sunday when he faces the Marlins. Little went right for the right-hander on July 25, as evidenced by his five walks, five hits and two hits batters in four-plus innings.

10-4? Man, that must be some good stuff.

Moehler hold it together this time like how he sometime does with some little luck and great defense while Madson and his 6.18 tries to rebreak the all-time wild pitches thrown in one inning record.

Two pitchers with ERAs in the 6's. It'll be a close, high scoring game. You're underestimating the Phillies lineup. Again.

AM 760 in Palm Beach won't carry the game, because it's contractually obligated to carry ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball (Red Sox vs. somebody). :thumbdown

WTF? Argh... Now what do I do? I guess WQAM will have to do eventhough it is fuzzy.

You could try 93.5 FM. Normally they carry the QAM game coverage, and their signal is pretty good.

Belle Glade's 93.5 WBGF-FM is a loyal Marlins affiliate and for those in Palm Beach who can't get WQAM it is the best option along with 1450 WSTU out of Stuart.

Yup, some baseball on the radio is never bad.

BTW, for those who just cannot get the Marlins Radio Network on-air or through FloridaMarlins.com...XM is covering the game using WPHT-AM Philadelphia.

Another note....Phillies Radio whether it be WPHT or back when WPEN was the flagship always sounds like the microphone is a tin can in a bathroom full of flushing toilets.

WTG Mezzy. 1 down.

WTG Uggla. K. :(

WTF? Nice inning boys

So how are you getting the game, Holly?

WQAM- Its pretty clear right now and also gameday.

WQAM should be able to stay at 5kw until almost an hour from now.....depends on when they switch to the night mode of 1kw....then the signal dies.

Thats why it gets fuzzy at night. I never knew why.
