July 31, 200620 yr With four homers in the past two games, and a few spoted hits up the middle, I think Willy is starting to see the light! I am hopeing that his average continues to climb, i'll be more than satusfied with a .275-.280 with those power numbers. What do you guys think of Willy's bat at this point?
July 31, 200620 yr I think it's a hot bat, and I'd like to see it maintained over a greater sample size before I start talk of him 'finding the light'.
July 31, 200620 yr I dont care how many HR's he hits, but my hope is for a 380-400 OBP and a 460-500 slugging It is needed to make up for his bad defense, I am not saying I expect it all now just after he gets used to teh game and all by the end of the time.
July 31, 200620 yr A lot of those shots were warning track outs at Dolphin. Games at CBB are basically American League games, slow, boring blowouts.
