And I think Roethlisberger will probably be back by game 3 (even if they say it's not a sure thing when he'll return). Also, Hines Ward is out game 1 as well, correct? What happened to him? I will be at the Sunday December 31st game, where hopefully the Steelers DO win because we're not playing our starters in preperation for the playoffs.
September 4, 200620 yr As far as surgeries go, an appendectomy is pretty routine stuff. I don't think we'd be happy if he had cancer, or, I don't know, got busted up in a motorcycle crash, but this doesn't really pose any long-term threat to his health. He'll be back before long.

September 4, 200620 yr It sucks he is injured and out because of the surgery. I would of loved to beat them at their best. Now if we lose it will look terrible and if we win, we "should" of won. Either way it is bad to hear about him being hurt like that and I wish him nothing but the best. Hopefully my fins will beat the Steelers and both teams will get out without any other injuries.
