That said...Mike Hart is in the top 10 in the country.....

Top 5 is AP, Michael Bush (despite injury), Kenny Irons, Steve Slaton, Marshawn Lynch....

No it's not. Have I said a word?

I just want to see if people have him in their top 5.

I'd take Garrett Wolfe (in college) over any running back in the nation.

I want to see anybody do what he did against Ohio State.

LOC?

He's played 3 big ten teams.

2005:

@ Michigan- 17 carries, 148 yards, 8.7 YPC, 38 yards rec., 1 TD

@ Northwestern- 34 carries, 245 yards, 7.2 YPC, 16 yards rec., 3 TD

2006:

@ OSU- 26 carries, 171 yards, 6.6 YPC, 114 yard rec, 1 TD

3 games, 77 carries, 564 yards, 7.3 YPC, 168 yards rec, 5 TD

He averages 244 combo YPG against Big 10 opponents.

He's never been held 100 combo yards in a game he has played the entire game.

He's the best back in the national, and he has a realistic chance at running for over 2,000 yards.

1. Steve Slaton, West Virginia

2. Adrian Peterson, Oklahoma

3. Kenny Irons, Auburn

4. Marshawn Lynch, Cal

5. Antonio Pittman, Ohio State

Actually I think alot of players could have had a ton of yards on the Ohio State D from last week. Besides the line nobody played very well, a ton of freshman and different lineups were used and players were getting rotated and subbed constantly. I don't think Tressell threw out all his bells and whistles either. He wanted to contain NIU from scoring and that is what he did.

Adrian Peterson:

2004 -- 1925 yards, 15 TD's

2005 -- 1108 yards, 14 TD's

2006 -- on pace for 1700 yards and 15 TD's

Garrett Wolfe:

2004: 1656 yards, 21 TD

2005: 1580 yards, 17 TD

2006: on pace for 2000 yds 14 TD

Peterson tougher competition all season-long and also isn't the main weapon....Wolfe had to be the main weapon on NIU therefore more carries and yards....
