Maybe the small crowd last night was a blessing in disguise

Featured Replies

I wonder if Anibal would have pitched the no-no in a sold out stadium with the added pressure of a huge crowd? It might have been a blessing in disguise that there were only ~3k people there last night.

blessing in disguise my ass

I'm just trying to put a positive spin on it, lol.

how many ppl are going to come to a game the following day if Anibal was to throw a perfect game? the same amount? lmao

obviously the game would've been different...people tend to ignore the mental aspect of the game (which is the biggest) and therefore fail to realize that the smallest things can change the entire outcome of the game. Any game will play out differently with an empty stadium compared to a full stadium
