October 16, 200620 yr Cal should be higher than 10th USC barely won their last three games, and they weren't against good teams...but the Pac 10 is a tougher conference than the Big 10 Michigan Ohio St. may play twice this year...If USC loses a game (which they probably will, as they're barely managing to stay undefeated and have to play a red hot Cal team), and Michigan and Ohio St. remain undefeated until they play each other, the winner will obviously go to the National Championship game, but the loser should too, as they clearly are the top two teams in the nation this year
October 16, 200620 yr lol USC has played the toughest schedule in the country. A SUPER BOWL schedule, if you will.
October 16, 200620 yr the Pac 10 is a tougher conference than the Big 10 I'd like a toke when you're finished.
October 16, 200620 yr USC's only chance of beating either Michigan or Ohio State is playing in their place and even then UM and OSU would be favored.
October 16, 200620 yr the Pac 10 is a tougher conference than the Big 10 I'd like a toke when you're finished. This year I think as an overall conference that argument can be legit. After the top 2 teams, the rest of the Big 10 is pretty weak, although Wisconsin can look good at times.

They got served by OSU and Michigan, but I still think they're really good. Yeah, I'd say after 4-5 teams the Big Ten has a BIG dropoff.

I think Notre Dame is pretty overrated and they layed a pretty good beating on PSU, 41-17. PSU has beat Minny, Akron, Northwestern and Youngstown State this year. I'd say they get the due they deserve.
October 16, 200620 yr The Real Top 5 Teams: 1. Ohio St 2. Michigan 3. Florida 4. Auburn 5. LSU The fact that you have UF over Auburn in your REAL top 5 teams is crazy since the Gators just got mauled by Auburn this past weekend... :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol
October 16, 200620 yr The ACC is terrible. 3 in the top 20 and two more on the cusp of top 25 and they are 'terrible'? Come now, my friend. They may not be the best conference, but they are far from terrible.
October 16, 200620 yr I was playing off the use of that statement earlier this week but in all seriousness it's the worst BCS conference this year.
October 16, 200620 yr I don't think a single ACC team would be in the Top 25 if you were to place any of them in the SEC. I really think it's that bad this year.
October 16, 200620 yr Georgia Tech definately would.....Very good defense and an offense that's better then some of the other "top 25" schools in the SEC. you gonna tell me Georgia is that good???

LSU The fact that you have UF over Auburn in your REAL top 5 teams is crazy since the Gators just got mauled by Auburn this past weekend... :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol Mauled? Auburn didn't score an offensive touchdown. That was just a crazy, flukey game. If you think Auburn was a better football team in that game then you don't know much about the game of football. But yeah, that's the real top 5. And the Pac-10 overall is better than the Big-10. Cal and Oregon are so soft though, I would love to see them go up against good SEC teams. Wait, we already did when Cal got embarassed by the Vols.
October 16, 200620 yr Florida at #6 is pretty damn good after losing to Auburn. Win the rest of the games and we're pretty well off. I have a query though. Does the SEC championship game affect final BCS bowl rankings or is it too late? (
