Two time all-star, Finals MVP, ASG Skills champ, All-defense second team, ~50 percent shooter as a guard, >1 block per game as a guard (wtf rly?), and he ALWAYS shines in front of the national audience, under pressure.....this in just three years in the league, and it looks like he's still getting better because he's hitting the 3 with more consistency and pacing himself during the season.

The NFL was so much different when Marino played. Comparing Peyton Manning to Dan Marino is completely wrong. If he breaks the records, good for him. But he'll never be Marino caliber. I'd put him and Favre near the same level. And don't make the argument that Favre isn't good because he isn't affective this year, a year before his retirement with a subpar team. Stick Peyton Manning behind center on the current Green Bay squad and he wouldn't be much better.

However with regard to Vick, if you're talking about arm strength you're insane. Accuracy would be a different argument.

Personally, I don't think Pierre's skills are showcased enough in center field. While he does have a horrific arm, he has great speed and can get to the ball. He's overrated but he's no where near the most overrated athlete.

 

FYI: I'm not a big fan of his at all.
