I keep getting emails from all these differnt clubs telling me of autographs signing and player appearances coming up : ex. willy taveras is signing autographs at toys r us this weekend. why can't any of our guys do this? Even when they do occasionally have a player appearance (for free) (the last one i can think of is kevin millar signing at walmart).

December 1, 200619 yr I don't have a problem with players not showing up for these things this time of year. It's the holidays. Let them enjoy their families. How many of our players have families in this area? DTrain lives here but his family dosen't. With the exception of his wife, and I don't think her family lives here. Maybe they do. But then DTrain does so much for the community any ways that I think he gets a pass on this one. Is there anyone on the current team that has family in the area besides Fredi?? They will be doing the annual caravan thing in Feb right before FanFest. Be patient. Of course that's easy for me to say. I'm not an autograph hunter.

December 2, 200619 yr Due to inclement weather, Marlins pitcher Scott Olsen was unable to leave Chicago as scheduled and unfortunately will not be able to attend the Marlins Holiday Mall Tour at Sawgrass Mills Mall on Saturday, December 2nd. Substituting for Olsen, Marlins infielder Robert Andino will be appearing to sign autographs for fans attending from 1 p.m to 3 p.m. Limit one item per person.
