I am sorry I could not reply to all of you for some reason I could not get on the site. But I would like you guys to know that my concerns are legits. If you remmeber 2005 dontrelle was rob at his home while he was out pitching the opening game. I was in florida. When I seen the look on my son face and the house I wanted to die. So I hope I didn't upset anyone and thank you to the person who sent the link to newspaper. Now atleast we know were it came from. :shifty :cool GO MARLINS 2007

Mrs. Harris... I think I speak for the great majority of the members of this community when I say we love your son, and would never want any harm to befall him. We think he is, not only an outstanding athlete, but also an exemplary human being. I met him a couple of years ago and was left with an extremely good impression of him. You did a great job raising him, I commend you for it; and you have absolutely every right to be concerned about his safety.

We'll do our best to keep your son and his family as safe as possible. You have my word on that.

I think Beetle said everything I wanted to say. We definitely will try to do our best to keep everyone safe.

Dontrelle is a great person. I have met him twice before and he was always very polite, not only to myself, but to everyone else.

I wish you and your family the very best.

Yes, Dontrelle is a very nice man. You brought him up very well. I met at a Miami Heat game and he and JP were hanging out and JP wanted to focus on the game but Dontrelle wanted to have a good time so we joked around a bit. Lets hope he stays in South Fla his entire career and gets the money he deserves!

I got to meet D-Train just a few days after he was called up from the Mudcats in 2003, he's awesome.

I agree with you. We (the moderating staff) will take care of information like this in the future.

everyone who is a marlin fan is a dontrelle fan. he's a great guy and a hell of a pitcher.

This is not a threat, but if anyone touches Dontrelle Willis I will make it my duty to bring them major pain. I love that man. Not just cause he is a baseball player, forget all of that. He loves kids, and kids look up to him, and when my nephew grows up I sure want Dontrelle to be there to be his role model.

Dontrelle is awesome. You can tell he loves interacting with the fans. I saw him on the news today. They had a segment of him at Child Hope in Hialeah distributing turkeys. He had his big smile on his face and he was having a great time. That's one of the reasons why I think he's so great. He has such a great personality. I think the world needs more people like him.

I think eveyone else summed it up pretty well. He's a great guy. I've met him numerous times, and he always says hello with that famous smile of his. It's an honor to talk to you Ms. Harris.

It trully is an honor. I'm still amazed on how down to earth some people can be even after the fame. Makes me happy to be a Marlins fan, and at the end of the day it doesn't slap me in the face to be a Dontrelle Willis fan, cause I know he appreciates it.
