lol it was a great time, i think the marlins riot will be a lil less subdued, unless the yankees beat the red soxs then we will have a lot more sox fans on our board, but of a diff color.

i seriously doubt we would see any red sox fans on this board. remember the boston massacre *cringes*. i dont think they hate the yanks enough to form an alliance with us. besides we have our white sox buddies :thumbup

you have no idea, as a friend told me when i first got here for college, "red sox fans chant yankees suck at Fenway even when there not playing the yankees, heck they chant it anywhere and everywhere."

They hate the yankees, and really dont have a feeling towards us.

they chanted Yankees Suck at the Patriots super bowl parade... pathetic

I was at Fenway 2 summers ago, the day Ted Williams died. I think the Sox lost to the Tigers or somethin pitiful...anyway, we definitely heard Yankees Suck cheers...and after the game I saw people selling shirts that said stuff like Yankees Suck, Jeter Blows, etc.

You'll always find "Cubs Suck" and "Sosa Sucks" t-shirts outside Sox games, and "Sox Suck" and the like outside Cubs games, no matter who the other team is playing. When they play each other, you often see the same people selling both.

I think the best seller outside The Cell (our nickname for our stadium) this year was a shirt that had on the front "Sosa 21 Lumber Company" with "Lumber" crossed out and "Cork" written in, and on the back a Cubs logo with "ubs" replaced with "ork". A steal at $10!

the only move i disagreed with in the whole game was was not walking Sosa, make alou beat you. But then it didnt make sense because he was hitting crappy in the playoffs and he would have been the tieing run on base. Yet i just had a feeling that he was trouble.

Alou would've homered on that junk pitch that Urbina threw up there. If Urbina doesn't spin a slider on the inner half of the plate, Sammy flies out to end the game.

Hey Ramp,

Nice to meet ya. So how was it last night? Did you get into any arguments? LOL Have fun tonight! :D

i bet my friend Sosa was going to choke and strike out in the ninth. I could of swore he was going to ..against Ugie !!! but we came out champs for a day so hell yeah !!!!!! :w00t :w00t :w00t

Ramp, any other marlins fans in the stadium?

didnt see 1 other fan in the stadium...

but thats fine with me

I saw Maggie Rodriguez on CBS 4 News with 2 or 3 Marlins fans in Chicago.

i have never been more proud to be a Marlins fan....

this was the greatest game I have ever been to....

nothing like getting yelled at for several innings and then having your team STORM BACK

this was great

i cant wait for game 2

Give those scrub fans hell.

If confronted by any of them, ask them a baseball question ( anything that doesn't involve which lame celebrity is singing, where toothless Ronnie Woo Woo is sitting, which bar they plan to head to after the 7th inning, or the name of the Lincoln park trixie sitting next to them talking about Lattes and shopping the whole game). They will become so confused they will be stunned and immobile. You can then use the opportunity to skip past them and get out of the ivy-covered urinal they all worship.
