Why do people not like dave? I think he is better than 90% of the radio guys out there. the only ones better in my opinion are the red's marty brennaman and the braves quad squad. Vin Scully gets very boring.

are you kidding me Cape? We've gone over this before. The guy is ponderous. Nothing personal, I think he's a great guy & I love the old baseball stories, but jeez...

 

It's fine to be objective & all that, guys don't need to be homers on a Jim Mandich/Dolphins level, but the guy seems to be sleeping through his broadcast at times.

 

yeah, "up up & away" is one in a million...

I think van Horne calls the game with passion, just because he doesn't start yelling or doing the yankee-win-wet-your-panties dance doesn't mean he isn't good.

 

I prefer Van Horne to O'Brien or Angel on the radio. O'Brien/Angel were good on tv, but not on radio. van Horne is real baseball radio voice.

exactly ramp did u see boog call's for one of the playoffs games i think the one pudge hit the game winning hit in extra innings. it was a lot more passionate than wut dave would have called.

Vanilla came before the other flavors. He isn't terrible guys, you make him seem like the Yankees/WCBS radio crew.

I depend on it for 60 Marlins games a year. FSN games I can get here in Fort Myers, but PAX and Radio games must be listened to online or at best on WWCN-770.
