March 26, 200718 yr yeah bases loaded w/ 1 out & Mess gets out of it. 'Course it was the pitcher he was facing with 1 out... I wouldn't say closer consideration, but I'd say he's likely made the team, and if the closer job gets passed around during the season, then at some point he may be one of the guys who gets a shot. (that wouldn't be my choice) I didn't think he was going to make the team a couple of weeks ago. I'm still need to see some prolonged success in the regular season before I'm sold on him, but it's good to see nevertheless. Here comes Koplove, to ruin the afternoon. March 26, 200718 yr another scoreless inning for Owens today. I just know this pen is trying to get my hopes up... Messenger, Owens, Lindstrom, Gregg & Rodriguez this spring combined have allowed just 6 earned runs in 48 innings.

Hopefully that will carry over in the real world (Regular season).
