April 29, 200719 yr What the hell is up with Sinkbeil? Does anybody have a clue yet? been asking around like crazy... no one knows... I got one more contact I haven't asked yet... I'll get on that tonight I read this morning in the paper that he felt some tightness in his forearm. I looked online for the link but I couldnt find it (Sun-Sent).
April 30, 200719 yr What the hell is up with Sinkbeil? Does anybody have a clue yet? He complained of some arm soreness and the coaches shut him down for a bit. He should be back in mid May (20th I think). Don't have a link, but that's from the horse's mouth.

He experienced some tendonitis in his elbow and is currently resting. He is probably out for a few more weeks.
May 2, 200719 yr Taylor with another great outing today 8IP 8K 4H 1ER - ND game went 12 Wow, he has been looking pretty good.
May 21, 200719 yr Sorry to bump this thread but are you going to update this sometime soon? I would like to see how all our pitchers are doing and I am sure others will like it too. BTW: Graham Taylor had great outing for the Hoppers today.... 7ip, 3h, 0r, 2bb, 4k - ERA 2.21 He has 50k's and 4bb in 61 ip. Pretty impressive.
May 21, 200719 yr Author Sorry about that, Holly... I went out of town for a week and half, and then sort of forgot about it... I will continue this thread, and update it tonight.

May 23, 200719 yr Author Was anyone at the Jupiter game last night? What happened with those 5 unearned runs against Volstad? Also, a quick note... lefties are hitting .380 of Volstad this year.
May 23, 200719 yr Here is the Game Log from Milb.com 3rd inning really hurt him ......2 ground outs, walk, error by 3B Fulton, single, single, single etc.... Link to Game Log : http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...tbyafa_jupafa_1
May 26, 200719 yr Author Quick note of attention... I'm still a little skeptic to see what will happen with this guy in A+ ball, but Graham Taylor continues to go nuts as he pitched another complete game only allowing 1 run on 4 hits. And how's that good K/BB ratio going with Taylor? 54/5. yeah.
May 30, 200719 yr Author Look out for the improving Aaron Thompson starting tonight against Palm Beach, as well as what might be Graham Taylor's last start in Greensboro.
May 30, 200719 yr I just saw Thompson was starting tonight. Wanted to make sure I went up to see a Thompson start. I believe theyre skipping someone to keep him on his usual 4 days rest but perhaps not since I dont think there has been much in the way of quality in front of Thompson lately.
May 30, 200719 yr Author They are starting to get their rotation back... they skipped an outing with Tucker, and of course Sinkbeil was on the DL for that short while. But yeah... Volstad, Tucker, Thompson, Sinkbeil, and they have been throwing Jesus Silva out there who is older (25) than most of these guys, but has performed well as of late.
May 31, 200719 yr Ramp Posted Today, 09:22 PM Thompson and Taylor were tattooed tonight It must be the "BA" curse...............
May 31, 200719 yr Author Thompson and Taylor were tattooed tonight Tattooed seems too nice of a word.
June 5, 200719 yr I am new to this Board, and have really enjoyed this thread about the young pitchers. One comment: it looks like Tucker, in Jupiter, is flying under the radar screen. His last few starts have been solid, and his stats compare favorably to the other Jupiter starters. He seems to be a strong, durable pitcher. If I remember correctly, last year's 2nd half was much better than his first. If that trend repeats, this could wind up being a great year for him.
