I know that last year he looked just as good as he has so far, but tonight he really impressed me. He was dominant, but what surprised me the most was that he was hitting 95-96 on the gun. His breaking ball was also very sharp and that last strike out of Bigio showed how lost hitters were against him. I really hope he keeps it up, for his sake and the bullpen's.

yeah i couldnt stand him last year but he looks like a different pitcher on the mound. the confidence is there. hes got a swagger and goes right at the hitters.

it looks to me like his stuff has improved. Did he throw 94-95 mph last year, too?

His release definitely has gotten better. He's learned how to use his size to his advantage.
