June 2, 200719 yr No. I learned this when I went to visit Andrew Jackson's home in Tennessee. Jackson is known as the founder of the Democratic Party, but throughout his term as President, his political rivals would always refer to him as a jackass. Didn't bother Jackson one bit and thus the party adopted the donkey as its symbol. Another one for you guys...Name the only President to serve as Supreme Court Justice and another President served in Congress, both after their terms as President were finished. Who were they? A turkey...and that was close Furcal tenn. doesn't touch illinois. forgot about that. here's one the south floridans may know easily: what were the original termini for the florida's turnpike when it opened in 1957? extra points for those that know the official florida state road designation. Ha, all I know about the creation of Florida's turnpike is that the state promised the people that there would only be tolls to pay till the road was fully paid for. Boy what a lie that turned out to be.
