I am going to suggest a new nickname for Miggy. 'Manchild'. I know, some of you may not like it. But damn, he is - plays well beyond his years. Like a baseball version of Solon or something...

"the next big thing"

" Magic Miggy "

Too long...how about 'Preview'?

Or 'The Promise'?

baby faced assassin

Kid Clutch.

I'm sticking with the one I created.

Manchild was used by broadcasters on both Fox and ESPN in the last week.

I like Wild's "Kid Clutch" although I personally like "The Kid", which I started call him from the day he came up.

He reminded me of the last "The Kid", Ted (or "Teddy Ballgame") Williams, who I was lucky enough to see many times. I've said all along he was going to be a superstar and these last two months have proven that without a doubt.

How about, "Thoroughbred"

ESPN had "Porshe Cabrera"

Mingy Man.

Golden Kid

I guess you can chalk it up to you and me being from different generations. You may be right that some peeps called KG Jr "The Kid", but to me (being old) it will forever be Teddy Ballgame. I wish all of you could have seen him play, he was poetry in motion, so fluid, so into the game, and say what you want about clutch, man its seemed like he was always there when you needed him, right down to his last at bat, when BTW, he homered.

Go Fish !

Jr's license plate on one of his cars says "The Kid"

Anything's better than M(iguel)C(abrera) HAMMER...
