Anybody see it yet? I checked it out last night. It was pretty entertaining but definetly not as good as one or two.

Interesting.

I've heard from three of my friends who said it was the best to them.

It'd have to be better than the atrocious Ocean's Twelve (one of my least favorite films ever) but if you say it wasn't that doesn't look good for me seeing this in theatres.

I wanna see it just because Pacino is in it.

Interesting.

It was A LOT better than Twelve. Not saying much, because Twelve was one of the worst movies Ive ever seen, but Thirteen was very entertaining. I like that it went back to what made Eleven so great - being in Vegas, scheming the whole movie for one big score, and actually featuring each of the characters extensively (unlike 12 where I felt like Clooney and Pitt got all the attention while some of the other guys were basically absent). Also Pacino alone is worth the price of admission

All in all Id say it goes 11>13>>>>>12

There really wasnt any "mystery/suspense" in this one. You could see the entire plot coming from a mile away. It was entertaining and depending on how much it makes I am sure we will see another one. They have a pretty decent formula. A bunch of famous actors will make the average person want to go see it. The actors dont mind making it because there isnt a huge time commitment from them since no one has a huge part (less clooney).

11 is by far better than the other two.

it was alright.

on a side note, first movie i saw at graumann's chinese theater (where it premiered days before) on hollywood and highland.

Interesting.

Gotta agree on Ocean's 12. Good lord was that movie AWFUL. Not as bad as POTC though.

haven't seen the whole Ocean 11, but after seeing 12.. i can say it was horrendous.

Ocean's 12 to me was like a practical joke was being played on the audience.

I imagined the producers and writers sitting around going,

"Well how far do you think we can push it? We have Brad Pitt so lets just make it as ridiculous as we can and we'll still make money."

"What's that, Steve? Julia Roberts' character pretending to be Julia Roberts? Brilliant! Write it down!"

"Anne? Oh, man I really like that yeah, she can dupe Bruce Willis! Yes, he will play himself in the film! Amazing!"

"Here's an idea: Let's negate the last half hour of the movie with a plot twist that doesnt really make much sense. The audience is sure to love that."

It was more like the whole film.

I just saw it a little while ago, and I would have to say that it was WAY above the second one, and much closer to the original. Still, the original beats the sequels any day.

It was also nice to see all of the characters for nearly equal time, unlike the last one. Throwing Bernie Mac in jail so early in the film was a stupid move.

I enjoyed the movie. Definitely better than 12, but still not really close to 11. I think when you use the same formula for a movie, for the most part the first one is always going to be the best. Worth the matin?e price, but not a movie I'll be waiting to buy when it comes out on DVD.

i have yet to see it. i thought 11 and 12 were good.

Just saw this last night - It was okay. I have to admit, I went in with REALLY low expectations, so that may have helped.

I loved it, I admit. Equally as good as 11 in my opinion.

i thought 11 was a classic, and nothing is better then the first, the 2nd was very entertaining but not even as close as 11....

but oceans 13 was very well done, i enjoyed it alot defnetley the last 10 minz...... its hard for me to compare it to 11 cuz like i said 11 to me was a classic, but 13 was far from dissipointing

overall i enjoyed it alot... people that havent see it should check it out

was an entertaining movie - nothing amazing about it - but a nice, light movie - much better than the 2nd, but I think it fell short of the first - there really wasn't much suspense to it or any real sense of danger

was worth the $5 though

  • 1 month later...

Was alright.....Saw it on TV-Links....the guy who filmed it sucked but i pretty much caught the whole thing...better then 2 but not the 1st one.
