In my opinion this guy and Tim Lincecum are a notch above any pitching prospect in baseball. Supposedly he is going to start on Monday, unless they have to use him in the bullpen before then.

I think he is going to be similar to Dontrelle Willis was to us in 03, putting up huge numbers and vaulting Milwaukee deep into the playoffs.

His numbers in the extremely hitting friendly PCL: 77IP 110K's 28 walks .189 BAA.

I plucked him off the free agent wire in my H2H league a while ago.

Finally paying off.

Just picked him up.

I think everyone hates me in my league. I've snagged Lincecum, Bailey, Clemens, and now Gallardo.

Hopefully they can pay off in the long run.

I added Bailey and Gallardo.

Also added Jeremy Accardo and Dustin McGowan.

Im excited to see him pitch. Saw him in the FSL All Star game last year along with Homer Bailey and Kevin Slowey among others. FSL All Star game is definitely worth going to. His curveball was absolutely filthy and his strikeout numbers throughout the minors are insane.

He will pitch tonight against the Giants Lowry.... Hes actually a favorite tonight (-137). I know this kid is real good but do you think tonight he gets a "welcome to the big leagues" bombing?

I think it will be quite the opposite. More of a "Hey guys, Im pretty damn good and you've never seen me before" type of start. Plus hes pitching against one of the worst offenses in baseball.

For a guy drawing Ben Sheets comparisons, I'd say the risk is remote.

I added Bailey and Gallardo.

same here.

Added Andrew Miller and dropped Capuano as well.
