GCL Marlins had a scheduled game vs the Mets that was supposed to take place at 12et, but I don't know if it ever did

Tony Perez was at the Greensboro game, although that isnt an unsual occurence so it doesnt mean anything really. Come to think of it, forget I mentioned it. Greensboro roughed up a pretty good pitching prospect today in Clayton Tanner.

Curious stat for the day, Langley has 139 total ABs in the minors so far, and is yet to draw a single walk in his professional career. For someone hitting .417 that might be nitpicking, but I thought i'd mention it.

Erasmo Ramirez could be a guy to take over for Renyel Pinto or Tank if they continue to struggle as the LOOGY. He has put up some nice numbers in the majors, in 110 IP he has only walked 20 with an ERA of 3.90.

It'll be nice to have a lefty with some control.

  • John Raynor: 5/5 5r 3b hr(6) 2rbi

  • Chris Hatcher: 3/5 2r 2b hr(6) 5rbi cs

  • Chris Coghlan: 2/5 r hr(10) rbi 2k... seriously, get him out of Greensboro NOW!

  • Logan Morrison: 1/3 2r 2b bb

IMO the bolded sentiment applies to all 4 of these guys. If not Morrison and Hatcher, at least Coghlan and Raynor. They are both beasts and too good for the SALLY league.

I could agree(only dispute I have about Morrison is he is on a 2 month tear and there is no one of consequence blocking him), but Raynor has been too much for the Sally too.

OK. I have no sarcasm detection skills, so unless I ask I take pretty much everything at face value.

To be honest, besides Harveys recent hot streak the entire OF at Jupiter is pretty putrid. Do our guys just not like Roger Dean Stadium? Do the Cardinals spike our gatorade? Place is like the bermuda triangle and the twilight zone rolled into one.

BTW, I am very high on Raynor, and dont try to hide it, and my opinions of him are probably a bit more favorable than they are to other players...hope no one holds it against me.

quick update on Scott Cousins:

"Scott Cousins in on the temporary inactive list. He should be back on our roster soon! Just some paper movement."

Raynor has like 30 SBs already and is spraying the ball all over the field, there isn't anything not to like about him

BTW Cousin was also playing real well

Coughlan OPS is 1.010 he has 60 RBIs

What does paper movement mean? Sounds to me like some promotions are possibly on the way..?

Not exactly sure what is going on, but atleast he ain't hurt

sometime thats what they do instead of disable list . was he not disable earlier this year? but I also hope he was not hurt

he was disabled this year already

ramp can you find out why they are not playing Guillermo Martinez avg.389 only 18 ab. saw him Jupiter and thought he would do great in Greensboro

I think the organization thinks Daniel Garcia is a bigger prospect at this point

I like him too but he's a little younger. But with Hanley their it will be some years

when evaluating lower level younger prospects, there's little reason to even think about what is going on at the big club at that time
