NFL Week 1

About damn time!!!!! :notworthy

Indy and Narlins open it up on Thursday

Bears and Chargers on Sunday

Two monday night games

..what more can you ask for?!

Bucs @ Seattle

Bucs starting rookies on the O-Line and D-Line.

I have no faith in our WR outside of Galloway, and when you consider P-Buc may go both ways, neither does Gruden.

I Like our defense, although with Chuck hurt our d-line took a hit.

Like the Trotter signing.

Trotter is a terrible fit for a cover 2 defense....he can't cover anyone and has literally no speed.

As an aside, very nervous about the Packer game....the Eagles willl score but I think Favre will gunsling it all around.

Dolphins @ Redskins.

Re-match of two Super Bowls.

I'm looking for the Dolphins to hold the Washington offense to less than 10 points and the Dolphins offense to score 24.

Jason Campbell will be sacked 4+ times.

You Phins fans will at least be a source of humor once again this year.

Skins win that game and rather easily.

God I can't wait for the Bears game on sunday.. love the chargers team, might be the best in the NFL but I think the Bears have a shot. If anyone can contain LT, the guys up the middle for the Bears can. (Harris, Urlacher, Briggs, Brown). Gotta get pressure on Rivers and force some turnovers. Gonna be fun.

:lol

The 'Skins will not be able to handle our front seven on defense.

Seriously, Matt Roth is going to have a field day with Taylor and Porter getting all the attention.

i'm flying up to seattle on thursday for the game vs the bucs - so pumped as I haven't been up there in 5 years

my main question is whether or not stevens will see the field - he deserves a nice welcome home from the fans

A better team? [Giants fan looking at a LONG season]

What do you do when you know your team is looking at MAYBE a 6-10 season? Adopt a better team for the season to root for? Man - I don't even have a good fantasy team to look forward to. I'm suddenly depressed.

It all hinges on Webster and Ross. If they can hold their own, our front seven should be able to get some consistent pressure.

The O-Line looked strong, really nice against the Ravens and Pats this preseason. This offense is going to be very good -- so many targets in the air and a power running game that can wear you down badly.

And your team will score points how?

1 Special Teams score

1 Rushing TD

1 FG

I'd assume the same way that allowed Washington to give up 376 points (23.5/game) last season with a schedule of mainly crappy NFC opponents. (I'm not saying the Dolphins offense is any good, but, let's be honest, the Redskins have a pretty bad defense.)

I hope you're not counting on more than half of your points to come from defense and special teams this year.
