Josh Beckett and Jake Peavy are the Cy Youngs It might have something to do with Troy Tulowitzki being one of the best at the most important positions on the field and Ryan Braun being a COMPLETE abomination at third base. Personally, I'd give it to Braun, but it's very close.
September 30, 200718 yr Tulowitski has impressed me greatly, he maybe the best defensive SS in the NL this side of Vizquel, but Braun was just beyond imagination.
September 30, 200718 yr dare i say it, but mvpeavy? i personally think peavy should at least be in contention for the most outstanding player award (sorry, ap awards don't do it for me anymore). he's going to win the pitching triple crown and is a large part why the padres are this good.
