October 24, 200717 yr MARLINS (Rockies): Let's see ... a starting rotation of Josh Beckett, A.J. Burnett, Brad Penny and Dontrelle Willis. In the lineup? Miggy Cabrera, Derrek Lee, Ivan Rodriguez, Mike Lowell, Dan Uggla, Jeremy Hermida and Josh Willingham. Hmmm ... if the Marlins had the Red Sox's money, they'd be pretty good, too. Looking at that lineup just hurts.
October 25, 200717 yr TIGERS (Red Sox): Kordell Stewart to Michael Westbrook. Nuff said. Brings a smile to my face every time
October 25, 200717 yr BLUE JAYS (who cares): It's hockey season -- don't bother us until June. Oh, right, we're Maple Leafs fans. OK, make it April. :lol If only the Panthers had held out until overtime in that game though. :confused

October 26, 200717 yr Also don't forget who owns the Red Sox... Which is why I can't root for them. IMO he is much more of a 'villain' to the Marlins than Wayne Huizenga. John Henry just completely threw us under the bus.
October 26, 200717 yr Henry was given an opportunity of a lifetime, He is the best owner we have had in our history. If anyone says it was cratorface I will vomit. Talking about bailing out and screwing the franchise ....H Wayne takes the cake on that for sure

He sucks.

Your hyperbole statement is still invalidated by that one World Series.
October 27, 200717 yr Despite all of the bad things Huzienga did for this franchise, he isn't even in the same league as Henry. Huzienga was the driving force to get baseball in South Florida to begin with and there certainly was competition. Ask the people in the Tampa area. They had false hope in receiving the White Sox or Giants only to watch Miami get the expansion club. For that reason there still exists hostility toward Huzienga. Conversely, Henry essentially used the club as a launching pad to buy the Red Sox and nothing more. While Huzienga certainly did his damage (and still is), I can't find any strong redeeming qualities of the John Henry ownership. MLB AKA "Selig" was the one who offered Henry the Red Sox franchise. Yes we know that Henry was majorly disappointed that the Politicos shot down his staduim endeavors but Selig wanted Henry to handle the Red Sox franchise, Selig than gave us Loria. Anyone wonder why Loria did't get the Red Sox? Obvious reason that he is not a good Owner
