I truly believe this bullpen is the worst the Fish have ever had. Meyer, Calero, and Penn got lucky in the beginning of the season- look at their careers. Kensing chokes worse than any pitcher I've ever seen not named Heilman. Pinto can not throw strikes and Lindstrom throws straight as an arrow fastballs. The good news is we are still in 1st place- but how much longer with Bonifacio batting leadoff and our pen? We need to change these two things. You must be new at being a Marlins fan. Welcome to the club, its hard for us to recruit new fans to replace the old fustrated ones. But ya this is what happen when the FO don't want to spend just $1M on relief pitchers.

Dude, don't scare away the forces that have been letting us win so much so far into the season.

People wanted Pudge because they wanted to see the Marlins 2003 WS key player again. He was valuable to the fans as a showcast, not as a good player. They wanted him sign as a Marlins and hope he'll do well here despite his sharp declining skills.

Just talked to someone close to Lindstrom and the doctor told them that it wasn't the rotator cuff at all. All it is is a little inflammation behind his shoulder. There is no structural damage and once he gets back into his regular routine he will be fine. Not pitching for a week, throwing a light bullpen, and then going full bore on Sunday (a week later) is not good. The doctor said that if it was game 7 of the world series he could pitch, it would just take longer to heal. He will be ready opening day for sure. IMO with a lot of the major leaguers watching Lindstrom throw the ball at someone who was show boating was a great message to whoever pimps a home run off him. You've got to like that intensity and message he sent on National T.V. To bad a homerun is still a homerun. I think people who beam batters are asshole. That could had been a Marlin player position getting beam from another pitcher, and I'll be more piss of that then being happy of Lidstorm beaming someone.
