If the Marlins had kept Cabrera
Terrible question, because you don't know what Cabrera's stats would've been against NL pitching What are you talking about? DH affect pitchers, not hitters. If Cabrera stayed with the team, we would had 4 infielders with 30+ HR.
-
If the Marlins had kept Cabrera
Would we be able to make a trade as good as the actual trade last year?

All-time *sigh* What Could Have Been team
OF-Manny Ramrez- Whether you believe the Marlins FO that there were no serious discussions, or if you believe PIT/BS and our refusal to part ways w/ Stanton was the only thing keeping this deal from being a reality, the simple fact is he single-handidly carried the Dodgers on his back to the NLCs; our July and August could have been substantially better, and we could have had a Sunshine Sate WS right now. Where's the guarantee? 5 difference is hard to do on a single player.
-
Which team is better: 2008 Rays or 2003 Marilns?
Depend if they do win the WS, and they create at least one memorable scene.

Obama's 95% Illusion
When the economy is down, the rich that have too much money in their pocket not being used need to send it some back to the lower class to help boost the economy.

WPBT Poll
I just voted for against the stadium, just because I like seeing other people suffer. The poll result shows 60.8% for Braman, 38.4% for Samson, 0.8% undecided.

Conine to get ultimate test at Ironman triathlon
He better beat Samson time. He's a baseball athlete, not a baseball president.

need help....
I'm sure the FO are discssing about every trade possibility right now.

Update: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/base...s.ap/index.html the mother of one of the two victims accused Burgos of intentionally running her daughter over because she refused to go out with him.

2008 MLB Attendance Report
Just pointing out that I blame the stadium, not the fan base for the low attendance. 11th on the road average attendance, and top 10 in TV rating.

2008 MLB Attendance Report
Yep Marlins finish 11th in average attendance, shows that we do have a fan base out there somewhere. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/attendance?s...mp;seasonType=2

Seattle Mariners (-20) All calculated myself, I'll call it TAOPE since I don't think anyone have done this before. The numbers represent the amount of teams with higher payroll with less wins minus the amount of teams with lower payroll with more wins for the particular team. So since the Marlins score a 15, that mean they beat 15 other teams with a higher payroll and less wins minus teams who beat the Marlins with lower payroll and more wins. (which is none since the Marlins already are rank last in payroll, so they simply beat 15 other teams in payroll and less wins). I think it is a better formula in figuring how efficient each teams use their payroll since it compare it to every other teams.

Manny Ramirez is a winner
If Manny was traded to this team, he'll be criticize for our offense slump during August.

Marlin's Addition by Subtraction
Third firesale here we come!!!.Unfortunetly the 2009-2010 offseason may be just as ugly, when the players we keep start making second year arbitration. And in 2011-2012 off season will be ugly too with most of the arb players that we replace with this offseason will be in the 3rd year by then.
