mcwkm
It doesn't even have a first name, it just says McLovin! For some reason I found that funny. Miller for sure. Trahern very strong chance despite what people say on here I understand that you are his friend, but you seem to know a lot more, understandibly, about Dallas, than you do about the Marlins current situation. It is tough to say somebody has a very strong chance to be in the rotation on opening day when you dont know much about the organization he is a part of. Easy and fair to speak of that player, but not the organization. One you know, the other you dont. considering trahern actually has a full season at AA i would say he has a chance to crack the rotation unless they are extremely impressive in spring i would consider the list of starters to be RVH mitre olsen miller gaby trahern barone nolasco sanchez(if hes ready) I don't see Barone having any flippin' chance. i dont really either but i put him there because i wouldnt be suprised if he does good in spring and enough of the others do bad/are not ready opening day he could start as the fifth starter. just added him because he has the best chance of the other guys in AA and AAA that have put up a decent number of innings above A-ball
Lefty
I don't see a way Nolasco doesn't start in the rotation. With JJ and Anibal recovering, we don't have a ton of experienced options. Anibal may be ready, but still...
Wild Card
Andrew Miller will the Marlins number 1 out the gate my friends. Amd you can take that to the bank. Big Unit part deux my friends. Yes, I'm blindly optimistic. I wouldn't disagree with the big unit comparison AT ALL.

Eddie Altamonte
My projection of our rotation Scott Olsen Rick Vanden Hurk Andrew Miller Ricky Nolasco Gabby Hernandez When Anibal is ready Nolasco will go to the Bullpen Sergio Mitre will be traded before ST
mcwkm
i can see mitre being traded but id rather have him take some innings away from other arms this year to give them more seasoning if not him a cheap vet
Wild Card
I can tell you right now Mitre will not be traded. The only arm we have that we can afford to rid and will give us enough value in return is Gregg. We have way too many questions in the rotation with injuries and MLB readiness to deal him. Lefty
who's the fireballer we got? Can he be in an insta-closer for us?
Wild Card
who's the fireballer we got? Can he be in an insta-closer for us? I would have ZERO problem with Matt Lindstrom closing our games. I didn't before last ST and at this point I am twice as confident as then.

Apparently he is a smaller (5'11) pitcher with a fireball arm, but with less control than desired. It seems he's destined for the bullpen, but he's apparently not ready for closing in the MLB at all. Maybe he could make the roster out of ST, but at this point RAMP or someone else is better to ask.

But we shall see. He does have to prove it in Spring Training.
