January 4, 200818 yr FNC needs to go HD ASAP! That does suck a big one. I'm pretty sure that its coming soon for us DirecTV people. Fox News Channel is converting to HD, but they haven't announced a date yet other than sometime in 2008 with DirecTV already signed on. That's the big one, Fox Babes + Graphics in HD will be awesome! Fox Business Network has been HD since day 1 (DirecTV only so far I believe) and is a playground for FNC staff to work in HD. CNN HD is on Comcast in Tallahassee along with a bunch of other carriers. MSNBC moved into the new 30 Rock studios they now share with NBC News and WNBC, both of which are HD. MSNBC HD shouldn't be too far down the line, especially with the Olympics coming. CNBC HD+ is a lame excuse for HD, but it is also on DirecTV.

January 4, 200818 yr This could be a nice all inclusive topic for all things related to the 2008 Presidential Primaries. Here is a list of when the primaries are: * January 29: Florida Just a brief reminder that this Democratic primary will not count because they pushed up the date and the DNC is punishing the state party. The Florida DNC sued, and a federal judge declared that since the primaries are not part of the actual general election, they are not a voting right. So Florida and Michigan are both f***ed. The GOP has tried to dissuade their state parties from doing the same, but has not taken such action against the Florida GOP. They aren't expected to.
