2008 Presidential Primaries

Featured Replies

FNC needs to go HD ASAP!

That does suck a big one.

I'm pretty sure that its coming soon for us DirecTV people.

Fox News Channel is converting to HD, but they haven't announced a date yet other than sometime in 2008 with DirecTV already signed on. That's the big one, Fox Babes + Graphics in HD will be awesome!

Fox Business Network has been HD since day 1 (DirecTV only so far I believe) and is a playground for FNC staff to work in HD.

CNN HD is on Comcast in Tallahassee along with a bunch of other carriers.

MSNBC moved into the new 30 Rock studios they now share with NBC News and WNBC, both of which are HD. MSNBC HD shouldn't be too far down the line, especially with the Olympics coming. CNBC HD+ is a lame excuse for HD, but it is also on DirecTV.

Some results coming in soon, so here are some links for local Iowa media so you can get some results.

Des Moines: WHO-TV | WOI-TV | KCCI-TV | FOX17 | The Des Moines Register

Sioux City: KTIV-TV | KCAU-TV | KMEG-TV | FOX44 | The Sioux City Journal

Quad Cities: KWQC-TV | WHBF-TV | WQAD-TV | FOX18 | The Quad City Times

Waterloo: KWWL-TV | KGAN-TV | KCRG-TV | FOX28 | The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier

Iowa Public Television

Entrance polling has Huck and Obama ahead, with 33 and 34 respectively according to Fox News Entry Polls.

Remember the Dem side is very unstable.

Top 3 right now:

Huck/Romney/Thompson

Obama/Clinton/Edwards

This could be a nice all inclusive topic for all things related to the 2008 Presidential Primaries.

Here is a list of when the primaries are:

* January 29: Florida

Just a brief reminder that this Democratic primary will not count because they pushed up the date and the DNC is punishing the state party.

The Florida DNC sued, and a federal judge declared that since the primaries are not part of the actual general election, they are not a voting right. So Florida and Michigan are both f***ed.

The GOP has tried to dissuade their state parties from doing the same, but has not taken such action against the Florida GOP. They aren't expected to.

Fox News currently has it:

Edwards 33%

Clinton 32%

Obama 31%

Incredible!!!!

Fox News calls Iowa's Republican Caucus as a win for Huckabee.

Already?

Dominating by that much? Wow.

God help us if he is the GOP nomination.

Fox, I agree. I will be very afraid if that man gets the nomination.

I want Obama v. McCain.

That would be one hell of a dog fight!

I like the showing from Thompson. He may yet have life in this election.

And f*** Huckabee. God help us all if he gets the nomination.
