Creepy Robot

Featured Replies

I remember seeing something about this robot on the Discovery Channel ( at least I think it was the Discovery Channel.)

It sounds like it runs on a weedeater motor outdoors, but if they could get it to run on batteries and make it more quiet I could see the military being able to make use of it.

Why hump an 80 pound Alice pack up a moutain if one of these will do it for you?

Think that is creepy? Wait till 30 years from now when those things are everywhere.

How did that thing not fall over when the guy kicked it?

Looks like it's only 10 years away from commercial production. Jesus, that's scary.

I say that thing can be used as a psychological weapon. I bet it would scare the bejeesus out of people who had never seen it before, if it was coming at them. :lol

Great, thanks for the nightmares tonight. The legs on that thing are amazing, I've seen a lot of robots with balancing motors that keep it upright, but nothing at that level.

I fully expect an army of those things to enslave us all over the next decade.

Exactly my thoughts. Sci-Fi coming to the real world.
