April 21, 200818 yr at least they praised hanley, miller and morgan are tired at this point and should be replaced with len and tommy If that were to happen that would mean we lose them. Now, if you wanted Minervini to go to ESPN I would back you 100%. I have a mute button.
April 21, 200818 yr i heard that he say only little over 11,000 want to see them play today We do good on Friday and Saturday games, especially Sat., our problem is Sunday and every other day, especially Sunday games. Sunday day games are absolutely hell unless you're in club. Not right now. Still early enough to enjoy our seats. And this Sunday was absolutely beautiful. Cloud coverage, nice breeze, and even when the sun did pop out it wasn't really hot. It may be a couple more home stands before we start exchanging our tickets for the 200 level. Until then it is the perfect time of year to enjoy a day game here. Some of us don't want to take that chance anymore. Because somedays in April it is hot as hell. I officially disowned day games last year. Since I sit in the Fish Tank, like you, there have been times that I have gotten to the park and hated myself. On Sundays, I either sit in the club section or nowhere at all.

April 21, 200818 yr It's not so much about the actual temperature, but the fact that Dolphin Stadium gets hot as _____!!! I love the open air day games as much as the next guy but when we have a roof over our yard I have to believe most Sunday games will be in a closed climate controlled building.
April 21, 200818 yr What pisses me off is seeing the stadium so empty and all I can do is watch on TV. I want to so badly be there at every game. I already told my wife that when we move back to Miami I will be renewing my season tickets but instead of just the weekend package I will get full season tickets this time. I miss going to the games and it pisses me off that the people down in South FLA take that team for granted, when I have no choice, they do. Anyhow, I am looking forward to seeing the Fish in Milwaukee this weekend. My wife and I are going to all 3 games @ Miller Park!

Until then it is the perfect time of year to enjoy a day game here. It was absolutely gorgeous out there yesterday! For the second straight weekend, I attended both Saturday and Sunday games with my son. The best deal out there is buying your Sunday tickets from the "Advance Ticket" window inside the stadium in order to pay the "advanced" price for Sunday games (Fish Tank = $9.00 -- that's cheaper than a bleacher seat at Roger Dean Stadium during a Spring weekend!). Of course, I would personally like to thank the "owners" of Seats 9 & 10, Row 1, Section 106 for NEVER showing up to the games. My son and I have now sat in those same seats for six (6) straight games!!! You can't beat sitting right in the visitors bullpen, especially when you're only paying for a Fish Tank seat!!!!! My son was given a ball (AGAIN!) by a member of the Nationals (catcher Wil Nieves) -- a ball that was "specially marked" commemorating the "Inaugural Season" at Nationals Ballpark, and then in the ninth inning on Saturday his cap flew into the bullpen during our celebration of Wes Helms' hit. All of the Nationals pitchers ignored us when we asked if they could get his cap (even though my son was crying), but at least the cleaning crew got it for us and all ended well! Even though I love "the tank," I've always liked Sections 106, 107, and 110 for baseball, and will probably be spending the whole season out there this year. The only downside of being there? Having little leaguers constantly screaming into the bullpen, "Can I have a ball?!?!? Can I have a ball?!?!?" Then again, because my son doesn't scream at them, they always give him one because he just looks at them warming up with an interested look. I guess that gets their attention! I'll be back out there next homestand against the Padres!

I can honestly say that if I lived anywhere remotely close to the area, I would be at as many games as possible. Being in Illinois, I just don't have the time or money to fly down to Miami to see some games. I'm making it a plan to make a trip down to Florida in the summer of 2011 and see some games when the new park opens to treat myself to a HOPEFUL college graduation.
