I've got about a week to decide whether to attend Stetson, Rollins College, or UM. I've visited all three, and was pretty impressed with each one of them, granted they all have some drawbacks in one way or another.

 

Anyone have any opinions on these schools?

 

I'm pretty sure a few of you go to UM, so I'm interested in hearing some first hand feedback.

If you're going to waste your money on a private institution, go for Rollins.

What are you planning on studying? I agree, UM isnt worth the tuition rates, unless you got a 75%+ scholarship there..

University of Miami>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Stetson and Rollins. No idea why the other would even enter the conversation if UM is an option.

 

I would have chosen UM over an other school in the state if I had the money. Instead I'm at free UF.

I had an amazing four years at UM and I recommend it highly with no qualms or drawbacks whatsoever.

What is the price difference?

 

Rollins and Stetson arent even on the same level as UM. If the price was similar for all three you shouldnt even think about it for more than 2 seconds. Even if UM is more expensive I still probably go UM. You will get a much better education and end up getting a better job.

As a hiring manager here in South Florida -

 

With all things being equal - I would choose the UM grad over the other two every time.

 

I would strongly suggest the University of Miami.

UM, if you can afford it.

 

A degree from UM looks a lot better than a degree from Stetson or Rollins, plain and simple.
